Alamo Exhibit

What did the exhibit teach me that I didn't know already?

The Alamo exihibit displayed letters written by soldiers during their last days. I did not know how really calm and still upbeat they seemed with their situation. They were actually asking for more powder and felt help was really on its way. The letters were well written, legible, and I would like to know more about the families that were written too. The descriptions of the Mexican soldiers uniforms in one section of the letter refelcted theirobservations and reflections on how bright and colorful they were. I did not know that letters were actually saved and preserved. Letterwriting is still one of the best communicaters.
